Our Hometown Checking Accounts include the services itemized by account type above. In addition, other Free services include: unlimited checking, cashier’s checks and money orders, preferred rate on new installment loans with automatic payment from your account (subject to credit approval), IRA, VISA credit cards, accidental death insurance, payment card protection, key ring protection, Savers Club® Book, overdraft protection (a nominal fee applies on non-PLUS accounts only), Soujourns® magazine subscription, automatic savings transfers, bank-by-mail, direct deposit of social security and payroll checks, notary services, and photocopy service.

Hometown Checking PLUS accounts also include these additional benefits: personalized checks, common carrier coverage in addition to accidental death insurance, discount shopping service, and free overdraft protection from savings or MMDA.

OTHER INTEREST BEARING ACCOUNTS

The following terms apply to Money Market Account, Business Money Market Account, and Money Market Deposit Account Plus  and savings accounts:

During any month, you may not make more than six withdrawals or transfers to another bank account of yours or to a third party by means of a preauthorized, ACH,  automatic transfer or telephone banking transfer  whether initiated by check, draft, debit card, if applicable, or similiar order to a third party. This includes Internet Banking transfers.  If the transaction limit is exceeded, there is a $15 excess item fee assessed to the MMDA accounts.  Subsequent violations may result in changing the account to a non-interest bearing checking or an interest bearing checking (N.O.W. ) account, if the account holder is eligible to hold an interest bearing checking account.

Money Market Deposit Account

• Requires deposit of $1,000 to open
• Minimum balance to ensure no fee - $2,500
• If the daily balance falls below $2,500 on any day of the month - $6.00 per month

Statement Savings Account

Statements are mailed quarterly; however, if an account has had an electronic debit posted, the customer will receive a statement for the month the electronic debit posted.
